World Wide Genocide – Never Again
What
is Genocide? the deliberate and systematic destruction
of an ethnic, religious or national group. While precise
definition varies among genocide scholars, the legal definition
is found in the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention
and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (CPPCG). Article
2 of the CPPCG defines genocide as "any of the following
acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part,
a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
Killing members of the group; Causing serious bodily or
mental harm to members of the group; Deliberately inflicting
on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about
its physical destruction in whole or in part; Imposing
measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and/or]
Forcibly transferring children of the group to another
group."[1]
When they were told that Hitler was
coming; people said, “It’s
not my problem,”; so they looked the other way, until
they came for everyone.

Whether
it’s
Burma, Iraq, Kosovo, Darfur, Christian
Albanians, green
people, purple people, people with AIDS,
it makes no difference. WE ALL OUR ONE.
As one World we must remain united in our resolve.
It’s
ironic in it’s form and matter – what
we call today Life imitating Art.
There
is an old and still popular science fiction series called
Babylon
5. What we call today the United States
of America has become the United Federation of Planets. Commander
Sheridan is asked to define what we are, a line of people
are presented. They are all cordially introduced. The Commander’s
goal is to give a clear introduction to our civilization
to new and alien cultures. The presentation consists of presenting
one member from each faith on Planet Earth.
A Declaration of Principles
The universe speaks in many languages but only one
voice, the language could be English, German,
Arab, it is all
human …it speaks in the language of Hope, it speaks
in the language of Trust, it speaks in the language of
Strength, and the language of Compassion, it is the language
of the Heart, and the language of the Soul, and always
it is the same Voice.
It is the voice of our ancestors speaking through us
and the voice of our inheritors waiting to be born. It
is the
small still voice that says we are one no matter the blood,
no matter the skin, no matter the world, no matter the
star, we are one , no matter the pain, no matter the
darkness,
no matter the loss, no matter the fear we are one.
Here gathered together in common cause, we agree to recognize,
this singular truth and this singular rule, that we must
be kind to one another, because each voice enriches us
and ennobles us and each voice lost diminishes us.
We are the voice of the universe the soul of creation,
the fire that will light the way to a better future we
are one,
we are one all humans on Planet Earth.
